Computer guide

wear gloves, brotha, you dont want anything to go wrong when handling your CPU or ram or mobo..

I have just made it a habit to touch the side of the metal hdd bays whenever I open up my computer, it's to the point that if I have it open for a little while, I will literally touch the side of the psu or hdd bays everytime I put my hands inside the case, even if it's only 10 to 20 seconds after the last time I touched the psu or hdd bays...

Your motherboard should also include some instruction. Don't just toss it aside make sure you look through it.

Also 1200 watts is simply ridiculous and totally unnecessary xD I have two 4870s and I'm running on a 850W power supply, and even that's excessive.

yea i know its alot of watts but i was given to me. Can't argue with free.

Thanks again for all the help.

Don't be too worried about static. I have never had a problem with it. I will touch metal just before I start to do something, but not every ten seconds. I lapped my CPU (with wet sandpaper), and never grounded myself once.
