Ok so ive been thinking about building my own computer for awhile here are the parts i currently have personally i will be using this computer for video/gaming im also stuck on finding a few parts so if you could help/give me some advice that would be great my current budget is about 500-600$

I think you went overboard on the RAM and way under on the CPU (only getting a dual core) and motherboard.

You also won't have much fun video editing and gaming with an on-board video card.
 
Well, hardware's not really my thing....

I used tigerdirect and their barebone packages. Something like this:

EDIT: It would seem that their barebone kits change alot, as I was able to get a phenom II kit and now they don't have any of those. Also this kit doesn't contain a HDD, but you get the idea...
