Compare these motherboards and power supplies please.?

Motherboards: ASUS P5KPL-1600 or GigaBye EP31-DS3L

Power Supply: Coolermaster 600w or Antec Earthwatts 500w

My graphics card is a Gigabyte 4850hd and this computer is a gaming computer.

I was at the shops and they didnt have the EP31 DS3L and Antec Earthwatts so my mate just replaced the parts with the ones above and said they are pretty much the same.

So which one is really better?

My personal preference for m/b is MSI boards and I stick with them. power supplies on the other hand I usually go for a 450 or 500 watt psu at the cheapest price. I dont look at the brand to much

If I had to, I'd go with the Gigabyte. But I'd go with the OCZ StealthXStream 500W for the PSU.

I would go with the ASUS. Cooler Master makes good power supplies. You can stick with that. But, just go with whatever is cheaper.
