Comp turns on to blank screen

Whenever I turn my comp on lately it turns on but nothing appears on my screen and my monitor light is blinking like it hasnt received a signal yet...and I have to hit the reset button then it works after that. It did this with my old video card and the new one I got yesterday so it's not that. Any ideas?

It could be connection problems, check that and also check that the drivers are installed

Happens everytime I turn the comp on. Have to hit the reset button then I get a picture
