Im attending College this fall for Computer Science.
Ive been told that on taxes, students can write off the stuff they buy for school, such as a computer. If this is true. I wouldnt mine buying (building) a desktop, and getting a new Laptop. Laptop I want is over $1 grand. And the desktop I want to build is $700. If I could write this at at the end of the year and get lots back. Id be happy.
Has anyone had any exprience with this? If so, do you get a good return with writing stuff off? Sometimes this is reffered to "itemizing".
