I was thinking of buying CCFL's for my case. It's an Antec Twelve Hundred and it has a lot of blue led fans. I was just wondering what colour combinations would look best with the blue fans; or if I should just go with blue cathodes. Thanks for any help. :)

I've seen blue and red. All I can say is blech! Those two colors seem to contrast more than compliment each other. I prefer a single color setup.

Go with the Blue cathodes, that's what im doing with my 1200, I also have a blue backlit keyboard and I'm planning on getting a razr deathadder soon, so blue all the way!

The colours available are blue, green, purple, yellow, red, uv and white.

And question, what are advantages of an LED over a CCFL? Brightness?

I prefer to make the colors the same.
Blending colors will only look nice if either you have planned it, or just got lucky.

Lower power consumption and less heat output. They also don't require an inverter box or w/e it's called. LED's are more focused while CCFL's throw light everywhere.
