Is this the right code for displaying a message and how do i make it timed so it dissappears after 20 sec

Is there a way for the shutdown dialog to come up but it doesn't shutdown

What programing language is this? Also, not sure if this helps, but you can make a vbs file that says shutting down in x seconds.

If you want the machine to shutdown, use the shutdown command.

So to force a shutdown after 20 seconds, you'd have something like:

shutdown -s -f -t 20
