(will this psu be able to power the system?)

everything looks good, but I don't know if I'd buy an SLi motherboard unless you are planning to put 2 vid cards in SLi, you'd probably pay a little less for it. and also the psu, I'd go with a better known brand like aspire or thermaltake

Well, with the SLI motherboard, he can upgrade in the future to almost double performance in games, so maybe that's the logic.

It looks pretty good, but i'm not too sure about the video card and the Hard Drive. Are you sure that a higher rpm speed wouldn't benefit you more in games, than SATA-II?

Also, the graphics card looks a little iffy, if you're gonna be playing those games at high settings. I'd go for the 7800GTX if you could, cause it consumes less power, giving you great performance and saving you money on your PSU to some degree.

The low-latency RAM looks good though, and the 3500+ should be okay as long as your graphics card's up to the task.

520 Should do it. And Skyhawk is known, they make great power supplies with great features.

The system looks great!!!
