i have two hard drives win ME on c drive and xp on d drive. i have now formatted d drive and using it as a logical drive. the prob is when i boot up, the selection screen still has xp as a choice. how do i get rid of this as xp was the first choice by default

In the file options turn on and view system files. On your main c directory there shoud be a boot.ini file open with notepad and delete the xp option out.

Or possibly an easier way is to go to run and type in msconfig. There is a place to modify the boot.ini file there.
