cd/dvd burner drive

my cd/dvd burner drive, i think since i dont use it alot has colleted dust on the inside and when im playing a cd it makes the song start skipping (could it be thats the problem?) well i wanted to know how to clean it to see if it still skipps when i play music.

Hey there..

There are CD Cleaning tools that will allow you to insert a CD and it will clean the Lazer inside the drive, now this can maybe fix the problem. Is there any loud sounds that come from the drive when you try to play a cd?
Most times its alot easier and cheaps to go and buy a new CD drive.

i think i would just try to clean it

Disconnect it from your computer, pull the drive out, spray some air into it(pressured air) I still think the cd is the best thing, worked for me.
