cd burning software

is there a cd burning freeware i should say that i can get that burn most tyoe files like iso. i have a i book G3 if that matters.

OSX has disk burning from all sorts of formats included standard in the OS.

but how would one be able to acces it on a command to burn a iso type file or other type files.

How to burn a CD image in Mac OS X:
1. Insert blank CD into burner.
2. Navigate to the Hard Drive-Applications-Utilities-Disk Utility
3. In the Images menu, go to "Burn Image"
4. Open the image.
5. A popup window will pop up. Hit "Burn"
6. A progress bar will pop up showing how far along the burning process is along.

Voila!

do you know if its posssible to burn linux. it should right since its under the mac format.

If you mean 'can you burn a linux install cd image to cd' then yes (using the steps I gave you).

ok well one i cant get the file because it seems that its windows forfat it just still in the exploer. its in a code i guess and its not downloaded. plus i dont get what you mean as far as "image menu what do you mean by that.

ok well i got to the point of the disk utilty and i opened it well i dont see nothing on how to burn it on a iso file.
