CAT5 cable questions!

Hey everyone, first post (w00t!)

OK, I got 700 feet of cat5 cable for $4.00 at a yard sale , the cable is near new, but what do you use to connect the wires to a connector like this one --->http://www.lindy.com/uk/productfolder/07/70434/70434big.jpg

and where do I get all the stuff from?

Oh, and can i use an old cat5 cable and snip off the end and use that one?
Any good links describing that stuff would be gr8.

im not sure about how u would do that but im certain u can google and find out but also make sure the cable u make isnt over 100 feet, i read somewhere that the internet degrades or somethin when it gets over that

Wow...it's a good deal, but that's A LOT of cable...hope you're not going to use DSL with all of it or your speed is going to suffer.
