Carnt Get into My Documents Folder...

I recently installed Sp1 for WinXP and stuffed up somehow and every time I restarted I got and error in a system32 folder and could not boot, I tried reinstalling XP but then I got to a point in installing where it just stopped. So I installed windows 2000 as a new installation but without deleting XP. Now I can not get my documents as I made them private in XP . Dose anyone know a way around this so I can get my documents.

What is Sp1 first ?
Did you set up a dual OS ?
You don't delete XP you format the disk,then install W2k
Before you do this burn your Document folder to a cd-r.
I suggest you start all over and get someone to do it "live" not here.
