yoo i have a Rockford Fosgate P1 in my room and some songs hit really low and it seems like its gonna blow this thing. Its running off of a Baja 400watt amp (Linky). the amp has a crossover (which if im correct it can prevent the woofer from getting frequencies it cant handle?) how should i adjust the crossover for this woofer?

How do you even get power to that amp? Computer PSU?

The cross over is just to adjust the frequency response you want the sub to reproduce in the music. Subs can reproduce depending on the sub up to like 150hz or something.

Im not sure what the ohm matters?

And what you need to adjust right now to not blow it is the input level or the gain.

well some songs hit really low (ex. Put on - young jeezy) and i dont want those really low frequencys to blow my sub

How did you blow it?

ehh just pushing to much watts to it... it was sealed so i dident smell anything at all... ported i have smelled something... on the ported sub i was running 3000watts rms to 2 12's even though they were 1000watts rms each lol so =\
