Can't register my website

i tried to register my website with my .tk address but it said becuase it was a subdomain it couldn't let me i'm kinda lost. If my website has ads on it before i got my domain name will there be ads on it afterwards.

.com's and .co.uk's are cheap...my co.uk is a fiver a year..or might be 2 years
