Can't play a file in Real Player

Hey fellas I transferred this audio file from a CD to my hard drive. It is in Real Player format. However when I play it, I get this message: "A General Error has occurred. An operation failed due to certification failure. More information is available at the RealNetworks Customer Support Website." I get an option od OK
or More Info. When I click "More Info", nothing happens. If I play it in Windows Media Player, it works but the thing is that this won't transfer to my IPOD. What can I do to fix this, thanx!!!!!!!!!!!!

why do you rip your cd audio to Real Player format?

why don't you try to rip your audio cd to mp3 format, or AAC ?
