Can't overclock amd X25500+ BE

I have an amd 64 X2 5500+ BE processor for overclocking but when i even try to boost the multiplier to 13.5 instead of 13 i get no boot up and have to reset cmos my stock is 2.6 Ghz with a 200 clock speed and the multiplier set on 13. The stock voltage is 1.35 i believe do i need to boost this up some?

That is probably what you will need to do. Just bump it up a little at a time and keep an eye on temperatures.

You can try boosting the clock speed before you raised the VCore just to make sure you're getting the most out of your system.
