Can't Burn CDs.

Well one of my family members has a laptop and its been shutting down on its own. So I wanted to burn temp monitoring software onto a CD then install it on theirs. After I burn them using the Windows XP wiz I pop the disc back in to double check and it says its a blank CD. Any tips?

What is the software, is it a CD you own or did you download it? Try burning again, it might have just been a coaster...

The software is Speed Fan and PC Wizard. It's a CD I bought.

Ok so it probably has copy protection which prevented it from doing a perfect burn. You're going to have to use ISOBuster and extract all of the files from the CD and then reburn, or you can google for more ways to bypass copy protection; that's the easiest free way I can think of.
