Can't Browse Second Hard Drive??

Hey guys,

I installed Windows 7 about 2 weeks ago and I am not able to double click and open my second hard drive. The only way to open it, is to right click it and do open. (From the desktop) When I do that, an error message pops up and states: Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item. Though it says that, when I press OK, it opens up!

OS problem? Something I did wrong?

Anyone know why this shows? It has become an very BIG annoyance...

are you the administrator of the computer?

if so right click and hit run as administrator

if thats not it you have to go to properties and run it in comparability mode

right click-properties-compadability

When I'm in windows 7, I can access the files on my other partition. But I had to click on a box that said it had to grant me permission to see the files. I did that, it worked for a min and then I'm able to access the files now.
