there is a folder on our network and i went in and changed the security settings as to who could gain access to the folder. after i selected the users and gave them full control i clicked ok and got a message that said something like these attributes can not be applied so i then clicked cancel and now no one can gain access to the folder. when i click properties of the folder and then go to the security tab i get a message saying i do not have permission to view or edit the attributes of this folder but i can take ownership by changing the auditing settings. i an logged in as the administrator but still can not get in.
