i have attached a screenshot of my con, where i try to connect via odbc to a mysql database/ i tried arround with this task a couple of times, but i could'nt get it run,

What language are you connecting with? Post your code so we can see what you're doing.
Are you trying to connecting over your local network? Is it installed on your development computer or a different computer acting as the MySQL server?
Is this in a home network where you have the DB setup? If so, do you have the proper ports forwarded if it's on a separate computer?
