The jump from 256 to 512 in video cards is about 200 or more USD.

well when it comes to the video card, mb size isnt really what you looking for, it is something that you want to look for, but not all that your looking for.

Go for the gforce 7800GS or the Radeon X1800 xt, both very good cards.
