Hey guys, first post and I thought I'd ask if you could all have a look at this for me. Thanks!

Log looks fine as far as I can tell.

What are your symptoms that you think you have malware? I'd suggest running a few more scans:

Firstly, run a scan with Malwarebytes Antimalware (the Free version is fine, you don't need to activate the Pro trial). Scan with it, delete whatever it finds, reboot and post the log here. Download it from here:
https://www.malwarebytes.org/mwb-download/

Secondly, run a scan with AdwCleaner. Same as above, scan with it, delete what it finds, post the log file here. Download from here:
AdwCleaner Download

Nothing is actually wrong, I was just curious is all. Been reading a lot lately about hackers, etc. Which as a result made me throw away my Webcam, that's paranoia for you! I have Malwarebytes, and it comes back clean.

And I tried downloading AdwCleaner, and Norton deleted it straight away with this message (picture attached). ????

I definitely recommend removing Norton and getting a better (and free) AV, such as Avira or Avast. Norton has never had the best track record; for general system performance or malware prevention/removal.

Is the free version of Avast good enough? Doesn't come with Firewall etc. However, I see it works with Windows Firewall as that has since turned on since removing Norton (which had Firewall protection).

I may end up just buying the premium, better to be safe than sorry etc.

I upgraded to premium, as it was a mere £19.99 a year. It just gives me a bit more peace of mind.

Blackoutuk, free AV is as good as paid, if you can afford then why not... But i work in IT and never recommend paid AV unless its corporate environment..

All these retailers try to scared end users into thinking free AV is not good enough, so they can make sales, and alot of margin on the AV...

Well it just worked on me by the looks of things, ha! Oh well, I'm not the richest of people but if £19.99 gives me a years worth of peace of mind then I'll take it ;)
