My CPU and RAM will occasionally go to 100%, and my PC seems very sluggish. I am also getting messages saying that services cant start and my Video card all of a sudden either isn't installed or not installed properly, and if you look at my other thread in the other hardware topic then you will see that my Device manager also is playing up.

I don't know if this is your problem, but I'm wondering...do you have more than one antivirus installed in your computer? If that's the case, that could be the issue. I see TrendMicro and I also see McAfee.

I think I have got it sorted now, a few days ago I got done by that bloody virus that tells you, you have a virus and then starts to pretend to scan your PC. MS Essentials detected it, and I also used Spybot as well as Malware bytes to remove the virus, and that is why nothing was visible, but it changes the registry doesn't it. I have performed a system restore and now the problems seem to have been fixed. The Mc Afee is only the site advisor and they are not functional.

I think so but I have noticed that my PC still isn't the same as before. I listen to the radio on my PC via the web, and from time to time the sound goes a bit funny. A few days ago my PC just crashed amd again yesterday the radio was making a funny noise but then the noise just continued and the PC had crashed. Don't know if it's just coincidence but I have never had this problem with the radio or the PC just crashing before this infection.

Thats what I done, I done a system restore to a few days before I got infected, I think the problems may just have been a coincidence.
