my friend has a 2 the wire router and she cant connect to internet she is trying to connect to the internet using a 2wire usb reciever how can i go about having her get online

Who is the ISP?
What TYPE of service is it? (DSL, Cable, sattelite, etc. etc.)
Has internet worked before, or is this a new setup?
Is her LAN wireless?
if so, can she connect to the router? is the LAN already fully configured?
