Calling anyone who knows London well...

Right, anyone who knows london well, give us a hand please!

I live in Hitchin, Hertfordshire; and i need to get to Brent Cross Shopping Centre. the nearest station to the shopping Centre is Hendon Central (it's a little bit closer than Brent Cross Station).

So, could someone sort out a Route via train/tube from Hitchin to Hendon Central?

I don't think there's a direct train (i doubt it), although Hitchin->Hendon shows up as a 1hr 37m journey..

Hitchin->London King's Cross is 38m.

I've used it a few times - It seems pretty useful. Coming out at roughly an hour journey on there. I assume you are doing it on public transport? (If so make sure you take out 'Car route' as an option on the first page)

Yeah i'm sticking to the tubes if i can. Both my parents worked in london for years but neither of them in Brent Cross xD

hitching to hendon takes so long because you go into kings cross, then accross to St Pancreas, then up to hendon... (national rail.co.uk)

I think that the quickest way is...
get a bus from hitchin to luton. (bus number 100, 101 or 102) (or beg a lift) (google maps)
then get a train from luton to hendon (38 minutes) (national rail)
walk the mile to the shopping centre (2o minutes) (or catch a bus number 142 for a 12 minute sit down). (google maps)

I'm going to be in Mildenhall in a few months for a few days. I would like to go see london or cambridge

Go to Watford junction (I'm guessing you're close if you live in herts get a travel card go to London Euston get a tube map it will be a lot easier just a but pricey.
