I think its just trying to say the standard or specification for that memory for that mobo. Nothing fancy. It's just telling you the ideal speed for ram for use with that mobo.
 
Obviously you know that DDR stands for Double Data Rate, so just have a think about the other posts and think hmm Standard. S

It's like the maximum supported ram speed. U can use faster ram too, but it will be running at ddr400 speeds on that mobo.
