Cable internet question

I just bought a wireless router and adapter we got it set up through the ever so dreaded cable modem. Now my question is do we have to pay for the signal Im getting from the router? Cause we have a 8 gig a month limit.

I have 2 desktop computers if thats needed at all

I'm not sure what you mean but when you hook up a wireless router, you do not have to pay extra a month. But, if you get capped at 8GB and you have moreo people connecting to your network then you might use that up a little faster.
