In my house we have a Time Warner cable box that allows us to receive digital and HD cable channels on our HDTV.

Is there any card that i can put in my computer that will allow me to receive these digital and HD channels in WMC?

interface doesn't matter i have a nice mainboard

Whats the input that goes into the box like? I'm not familiar with your service as i am UK based.

we plug a basic RF Cable into the back of the box

looks like this

if we plug this cable into the tv directly we dont get digital or HD channels, that's what i'm trying to avoid on my computer

UPDATE:
all right, solved my own question.

my cable box uses a CableCard to stream encrypted premium channels from Time Warner. the CableCard technology is protected and the content is DRM. the only way to stream it too a computer is to buy a computer from the company that makes CableCard, and a special tuner from either ATI or SONY.

too expensive and confusing for me too mess around with
