Burning avi and mpeg

kay ive been tryin to burn these avi and mpeg videos on a dvd+r but it wont work i have nero ultra 6.... anyone know what i should b doing?

doesn't work how? Just doesn't burn them or the cds don't play or something else? Does it give any error messages?
