burner suggestion?

im thinking of upgrading my ol plextor 12x10x32 burner for these..

LG Electronics 52x24x52x CD-RW - 91.00
Liteon 52x24x52x CD-RW - 68.00
Plextor Plexwriter 52x32x52x CD-RW - 170.00

does it make much of a diff between brands?... i know plextor is known for their quality and i know... my ol one has been good.. but since i have a little xtra i think an upgrade would be nice.. .. but from the price comparisons wouldnt an LG or a Liteon burner be equivalently good?.. n e one?

I shouldn't think that brands make a difference - if its the same specs, they might be passing their savings on to you depending on their manufacturing ways.

so you say LiteOn hasnt got that much for Quality. what about Asus, they cost about the same as LiteOn but do you know what they're like? cos i havent heard much about the differences between them
