So after Alienware fu**ed me over, I decided to build my first computer. I've been looking around picking out parts I think suit my needs, but I'm not completely sure if everything will work together, if I'm missing something critical, or one of the parts are really crappy/unusable.

What I'm looking at putting together:
Mobo:
Intel DX58SO2

Processor:
Intel Core i7-960 Bloomfield

Video Card:
EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked 1024MB

Power Supply:
Corsair CMPSU-750TX

RAM:
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Computer Case:
Cooler Master HAF 932

I'm new so please don't hate. Suggestions would be appreciated.

Woops, forgot to add my hard drive:
Seagate Barracuda ST31000524AS 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache

I haven't seen many reviews or feedback of intel boards. You should read up on whether they make good boards. Personally, I've always stuck with ASUS

Since the specs of the board that i saw says it supports only triple channel memory and not dual channel, perhaps you should look into a 3 stick triple channel pack

if you're a gamer and willing to spend, i recommend you go with an SSD for your system and game drive. or at least a 10K drive.

hope that helps :)
