Agreed. Go with a 2500K instead of the 2600K unless you just want to burn the money. The 2600K has hyperthreading, but that's the only real advantage as clock numbers can be upped on the 2500K.

some games aren't optimized for hyper-threading, and having hyper-threading on can actually have a negative impact on performance.

you don't need extra SATA cables either, your motherboard will include some.
for example;
ASUS P8P67 includes 4 sata cables

so does the AsRock P67 Extreme4 Gen3, so i just thought he needed a 5th cable as he had it on his list as why i said add everything else on his list

Does anyone see anything ELSE on the proposed build that could be modified, changed, etc?

I want to make my purchase tomorrow!
