Hey guys,
So my wife is in need a new computer but is a minimalist when it comes to spending money on a computer. She does not want to spend more than $550 on the parts. We already have a HDD and Windows so those are not needed. Anything I'm missing with this build or anything that could be swapped for something better/more economical? She mainly uses it for photo editing, light stuff picnic.com, facebook, and light gaming. She plays SWTOR and Age of Empires 3. Any comments are appreciated.

You are wanting a budget system? Then let's save some money...

Tri-core CPU, may unlock to a quad:
Newegg.com - AMD Athlon II X3 455 Rana 3.3GHz Socket AM3 95W Triple-Core Desktop Processor ADX455WFGMBOX

AM3 board capable of unlocking cores:
Newegg.com - BIOSTAR A880G+ AM3 AMD 880G HDMI Micro ATX AMD Motherboard

500W will be plenty for this:
Newegg.com - Antec Basiq BP500U 500W Continuous Power ATX12V Version 2.01 Active PFC Power Supply

Cases are according to taste.

I started to recommend just 4GB of RAM but that is at a great price.
