ATI Radeon HD 5970 --video card

SO there is what i would like to work with, if you have any suggestions to better components or any constructive criticism to the parts it would awesome.

please no bad mouthing, or wasteful information, please do not post just for the sake of posting, only helpful posts will be listened too, if you don't agree with a statement made by another user please ignore or only post if it will help myself.

also in regards to posting a comment that states "this is already posted or can easily found" don't post it, the reason i am asking questions is because I DID NOT find the other information.

Thank you i appreciate your information,
Truesony

have you already got the links to these parts? if you have the links could you post them please because im wondering what the rpm is for your hdd. but everything looks fine to me and yes, gaming rigs can get pretty warm depending on the componants

LOL

Anyway, do you have links to the items you're planning to purchase? You stated the i7 may come with the board so I'm curious if it does. I just had to laugh at your disclaimer up there :D I'll review the build here in a second and post some constructive feedback.

im unsure about the dvd RW im looking for a high end one but i have no idea what to look for...

i just switched the link for video cards to the correct card...sorry about bad link to start with

Very nice setup... very very nice.
Why not double up on the RAM though? You have the capacity.

I would add a Solid State Drive to the mix as well.

what kind of ram would i get? i am so lost on the ram and DVD rw i want the graphics card everyone says its high end and will support everything i need...

Uhhh yea that Graphics card will pretty much wash your car for you too....

Just double up on the RAM that you already have, get four sticks instead of two.

The DVD RW doesn't really matter, those are a dime a dozen anyway and all the same IMO.
