Yea S1211 is non-modular, M1211 is.

So in a nutshell, it's not the wattage output that's important as much as the way the PSU's manage that power?

K so Ty for all your help. I am left with two questions however.
Should I go with the S1211 or the M1211 power supply? Also, as far as the processor goes, should I get the six core or the eight core?

The differences between the two are one is modular (M1211) and the other isn't (S1211). Depends on what you want.
I personally say don't waste your money on the 8350 and just get a 6300. Save the rest of your money to get a better GPU later and eventually move to Intel.
