Hey, whats the best computer I could build for under $650? I would like decent graphics, and dual-core.

Thanks

Oh, well its a friend again, but I think he does. But he will need an OS with it. XP will be fine.

monitor no, speakers no, ketboard and mouse yes. Um, he wants AMD live, but I think the core 2 duo would be better. Myself, I'm an Nvidia fan, but its not going to be my computer, so if ATI has better bang for your buck, than that would be better.

How about this build?

Looks, ok, but doesnt it totalup to be less than $550 casue theres no periferals. not a fancy keyboard or mouse.

thats a nice setup, I uped my mobo, HD, Case, and doubled the memory...and still spend less than a thousand..so yeah. Get XP home for like 80 bucks or so, spend 20-30 on a set of creative 2.1 speakers. Monitor...well thats more money but you can pick up a dell/hp 17" crt for like 40 bucks off ebay...
