When I rewipe, the first thing I do is drivers. I have every device installed, and vista ultimate does have native support for FN keys, as my external monitor out works as does the FN key for sleep. This is a fresh install using the same disc I normally would use and prior to this install, screen brightness worked fine out of the box...
