I am on a shared computer, running windows XP home edition. I heard that there was a way to "lock" or password protect your Briefcase. Is this possible? If so, how do you do it?

Not sure if you can. Try searching Google and windows help. You may be able to get hold of a third party program that can do it.

Can you not just put it into your Documents folder as that is private and only you can get into it on your own account (well, it works for the main admin account, dont know about other accounts)

Yeah - if the Account has a password you can hide it from everyone but the Admin. Don't really need a Briefcase at all.

Or only have just your account on the machine.
