I have to have mine where I can get to it conveniently. Besides the dust issues, that sucker is HEAVY. The case alone weighs 22lb. Decked out like it is, it weighs in at a hefty 45lb. Right now it sits on a 8' banquet table right over a leg.

On the floor? NEVER!!!

I used to have a top mounted psu. I find that its better for cable management to have it bottom mounted. Temp differences idk but bottom mounted seems to be better overall.
