hi

i recently reformated my secondary hard disk using partition magic... it used to have linux on it but i reformatted it in windows to NTFS

when i load my computer it still comes up with the boot loader that allows u to choose between linux and windows... how do i get rid of it.. or was it me when i formatted my hard drive

because there were a number of problems when doing so.... like there were error messages which i fixed

Open the boot.ini file and edit out the o/s you don't want. It should look something like this.
[boot loader]
timeout=5
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional"/fastdetect/ noexecute=AlwaysOff
C:\CMDCONS\BOOTSECT.DAT="Microsoft Windows Recovery Console" /cmdcons

icic... never mind i installed windows pro on to the second hard disk... pretty good but none of my drivers were on there

cos its a retail pc with a recovery cd thingy...so i used the drivers from there =]
