Blue screen while reformatting

I am reformatting a computer and in the middle of the reformat, at random places, I am getting a blue screen that says: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

I can not get through the reformat without it blue screening, but never had the problem before.

any suggestions?

thanks for anyone who wondered but, I fixed it!!! I just opened it up and reset the ram and all the cards. something must have been loose.
