black screen on my laptop,

hi im having trouble fixing my laptop, it gives me a black screen when booting but works well when in safe mode and plugged into another monitor, i unistalled the graphic drivers and reboot it to see if it works like that and it does but i want to be able to put a graphic driver. ive tried reinstalling and it gives me the black screen everytime.any ideas?
my laptop is a gateway mt6728 on i forgot to mention im running windows vista

Boot into safe mode and open device manager. Double click on the graphics card and click roll back driver.
