black and white 2 installation error

i keep getting through the entire installation and at the end it tells me that there was an error, becuase i was denied access, which doesn't make sense since i only use the administrator account.

what could be causing this?

i'm getting so frustrated. i looked at some other sites and none of them have this exact error. but similar ones suggested that you have to be the actual administrator account, not an account with administrative rights.

so i logged out, ctrl alt del x2 and logged in as the administrator account. went through the whole install and it still said access denied

i figured it out.

i had to copy all 4 gigs of information to my hard drive and install from that.

what a pain in the ***
