Bios

This may sound a bit of a n00b question and I wish I didnt have to ask this but my computer doesnt have BIOS.. it did before the technicians at the shop where i custom-bought my pc from re-installed windows on it.. and now BIOS is gone. I know this coz it says something like "No BIOS detected!" when my pc boots up. How do I get BIOS? Can I safely aquire BIOS without the risk of losing my files?

I am thinking that your CMOS battery died. Try replacing your CMOS battery, and your BIOS should reappear.

could be. Or then u could always try and flash a new bios in there.
Or u could just take it to the shop and tell them to fix it for free since they made the problem in the first place.

That's what I would do, it's not your fault they screwed up

It's probably the battery, but check in with that store first. When they can fix for you, why bother doing it yourself.
