Big graphics overclock, small 3dmark increase

I just got a HIS X1800gto IceQ3 and stock (520/500) score ~6750. But then I overclocked (730/725) and I only get ~7850 in 3dmark05.
So I got a 40% overclock but only 16% 3dmark increase. Is that right???

My other specs are
AMD64 3000+
1gig pc3200
Asus A8N-E mobo

I was basing my overclock off of this review and with the same settings on the graphics card their getting 1600 more points. Could the better processor and ram their using give them that much of a better score.

thats right where you should be yea. 3dmark % increase will never increase at the same rate as OC % . Your cpu might be holding you back so see if you cant get it to at least 2.4ghz

Well I was greatly surprised to find out that when I returned my cpu overclock to 2.5ghz and tightened the ram timings that I jumped up to ~9250 in 3dmark05. That puts me just a few hundred behind the review.
Running oblivion on high settings at 1024 resolution and thinking I'm gonna turn it up a bit. Though in Fear I seem to get lag for some reason.
