well em... i have a Guru AN7, but the gfx socket is old and i think its quite old overall. Im wanting a gaming machine, I already have everything except a new mobo, cpu and gfx, Although if it was possible keep the gfx card i have now... But with me getting a new mobo the sockets might not be the same

Asus, MSI, DFI (Giga-byte is good but some boards won't OC well)

For lower end Asrock (asus), Biostar for AMD.

uhhh definitly asus and dfi. Really though it all depends on what features you want, if you oc or want to, if your more experienced and will swap performance for ease of use, and of course always how much your willing to spend.

I curretnly own an MSI board, and it is by far the best I have ever had.

I have previously used ECS, Foxconn, Chaintech, and they were substandard boards in my opinion... However I only used them briefly so Im probably not the one to judge them.
