Best Headset

I have the PC160's Myself and all I can say is amazing! The mic is super-clear and they sound excellent! They are definately worth the price.

But does anyone think i will be able to tell the difference between the 160's and the plantronics gamecom 1 pro's
Theres a £20 difference between the two so im not sure.

Nice headphones don't come with mics, but nice headphones are expensive. You should go in the audio and multimedia section to ask this question.

I can imagine a clip on mic will be pretty shite quality.
@ Travis18 why do you say that? I have heard good things about these headphones. Different models might be bad which may not be the case for this one.

I use Sennheiser PC150s and they work excellent.

And yea, stay away from USB.

What i might do is buy the plantronics and rma them if they are not any good.

hmm as the Sennheiser 160's are on sale at overclockers.co.uk for just £50 i think ill have to get them and they arent USB so if thats better then good.

I believe USBs are no good because they dont use the sound card, they have a small, built in Sound processing unit.
