I will be running either Xp 64 or windows 7. I think Im going AMD on this one, Yes i did have a old thread but it was becoming a mess, I have a $240 budget. So far i have gotten good responses on my other thread but i want to make sure im getting the best bang for my buck.

Memory- PQI TURBO 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model PQI26400-2GDBhttp://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820141064

Or Is it worth the extra $10 for the 1066?

^ seems alot more expensive
I have a Hard drive and cd drive and case. I wouldnt mind a new case, and i also need a new cpu

well going with a gpu is always a good idea but it might be a little more expensive if you plan on getting a decent GPU i am personally using MY integrated and i hate it its to weak for what im doing. What are you planning on doing with the rig are you planning to game? if so go GPU and your not just every day use just go with the IGP.

as far as RAM goes the higher that faster 1066 is good i would go the ddr3 route as its faster i am currently runing ddr3 1333 right now in my rig and i LOVE it.
