I have bought a Belkin wireless G router. I have tried to install it, but i have had problems connecting.

I run the disk (as it says) and follow the instructions on screen. I get so far as plugging it in, but when it starts to search for a connection from it, it doesn't work. I have tried all of the things they have said on the troubleshoot, and the callcentre is closed.

The router is connected to my computer downstairs which has a wired internet connection, and the router is supposed to send the signal up to my computer in my bedroom. I checked that the signal would be able to get to my room before i bought it.

Please help!!

Deviless.

Wait...the router is connected to your computer? Or are you suppose to have the ISP line connected to the router then have both PC connected to it.

Where is the WAN interface connected to?
